Overview
About the Book
Have you ever been bored by a PowerPoint presentation? Of course you have. The real question is, why can’t more people speak in a way that has the power to change the way people think and feel and act?
This book shows readers how to capture an audience’s attention and win their cooperation by using the strategies and techniques leaders use.
Meet the Author
Chris Witt is a speech consultant and coach with more than 25 years of professional speaking experience. He works primarily with leaders – presidents, CEOs, and senior-level executives – who want to speak in a way that advances their organization’s success.
He willingly admits that his approach challenges what has become conventional practice in the business world and, increasingly, in other arenas: the over-reliance on PowerPoint. He maintains that PowerPoint can’t help leaders do what they should be doing, which is influencing and inspiring their audiences, not educating them.
